We met Steve's cousin Kelly & her beau Adam for a quick Bridgehead coffee and then went over to the Davey's for a lovely Easter brunch, some egg dipping & decorating. It was a great plan, we had a lot of fun and laughs. We talked about our past decorating experiences; Steve remembers it being quite the all-day event with his sisters and mentioned that crayons and tape were a good way to make the eggs a little more unique. My Engineer Husband, always full of wonderful & useful little tips- we were all impressed!
We came home and had left over ham, veg & dauphinoise potatoes for supper and I retired to bed early to do some writing while leaving Husband works on the taxes.
It was a truly great weekend filled with a lot of joy.
