My friend Ailsa in England nominated me to do a morning selfie and donate to cancer research via text. BBC wrote,
20 March 20:30 GMT: Cancer Research UK says it has had more than 800,000 text donations since Wednesday - raising more than £1 million ($1.6 million). Two other UK based charities - Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Campaign - told BBC Trending they have also seen a significant increase in donations over the past 24 hours.
Help beat cancer sooner
One day everyone will beat cancer, the more research we do, the sooner that day will come.
This is wonderful. The United Kingdom makes it pretty easy to donate. You can send a text right from your phone making it very easy to make a difference.
