Fell in love, moved back to England for three years, started blogging about my time here which includes my fairytale wedding, plenty of travel, starting a family and other little bits and bobs. Life isn't always perfect but I sure have a lust for it and I am blessed to have found an amazing best friend and husband to share the bumps with. This is my awesome adventure called life and I am loving it.

THE BEST BEACHES IN MAINE
I shopped all morning at Fox Run Mall sans kids. Steve picked me up and we headed to Cape Neddick Maine. After driving around and looking at amazing homes while the kids napped we ended our drive at a smaller local beach frequented by the locals and not so overpopulated on a sunny day. A quality afternoon of play in the waves and sandcastle building. We ate delicious seafood cuisine at the local Lobster house (Lobster Pound). I won't forget all the lovely fresh shell fish consumed on this holiday anytime soon. I'm still drooling! We were put off by the low Canadian dollar while planning our trip home but I'm so glad we went for it in the end. We found great hotel rates and shopping deals. Finding so many delights this trip has made me want to spend more time in Ontario. Not sure what our future hold in the next few years but I know I want to spend more of it by the Ocean for sure!! xo

We shopped we dined, we took in the salt air. I was on a high after the shopping in New Hampshire but to find this amazing holiday spot was the perfect end to our already EPIC East Coast Adventure. Money Magazine dubbed Portsmouth New Hampshire One of the top 5 best places to live in America. I felt all the reasons why while there. Excellent Uni town not too far from Boston. Great people, service and accents! Steve took the kids to a concert in the park (suggested to us by a sweet young couple on a date at dinner) while I tackled the school shopping. We ate at Chipotle for lunch and dined in front of the iconic Moran Tugboats for supper.
Portsmouth- a terrific location!
We are right here on the coast of New Hampshire, just 45 minutes south of Portland Maine and 45 minutes north of Boston, Mass. The closest snow skiing is an easy 30-40 minute drive to Gunstock Ski Mountain. The coast, with our beautiful beaches and Atlantic Ocean, is right here at our doorstep. We've got great highway access for all major commuter routes, airports in 3 cities are less than an hour's drive and we have a small airport right here in Portsmouth, Amtrak rail service is just 15 minutes away.
