OFF TO THE LAKES

Husband and I are off to the Lakes to spend the weekend with friends. Can't wait!

BRISTOL

The Weather- I haven't run out of things to post I'm just shocked at the glorious sunny days we've been having in Bristol. It's making it a lot easier to be back in England after having such a amazing time in Canada. 1 day before October and 25 degrees- AWESOME!

BURNING BRIDGES

The hardest thing in life to learn is which bridge to cross and which to burn.

RUBBER DUCK RACES

Last week we drove out to Strom's Farm in Guelph and found some competitive fun: rubber ducky racing. Lynn was the champion of the day- "must be that strong tennis arm of hers."

We bought fresh corn and I swooned over the pumpkins and gourds while trying to think up mischievous ways I could bring a few back to England with me.

I miss Canada so much in October. It's my favourite month of the year for multiple reasons, not just because it's my birthday month.

Check out the Strom Farm website. They have on some great family activities going on throughout the year and if you live in the GTA it's well worth the drive out.  I will be posting some more fun pictures at the start of next month.

PB & J GET MARRIED

My beautiful sister-in-law was married this weekend in Toronto. It was an amazing day spent with family and friends.

I'm back home in the UK now and will be getting back into the swing of things this week. xoxo

VENICE

CASA DI GIULIETTA- VERONA

Visit Juliet's balcony,  buy a love lock to fix on one at one of the many passage ways, gates or bridges. Get lost in the alleyways filled with high end shops or take in a magnificent staged Opera. Verona has something for everyone including lots of pasta & pizza!
