FRIDAY, FRIDAY, FRIDAY

It's Friday, Friday, Friday... Connor's school song that he chimes out every week. It's been a long week with baby bug but I'm getting some free time today to get my hair done which I'm super excited about. Breast feeding is an amazing thing but it sure changes your life.

Euan turned a month old two days ago. I've noticed so many changes his eyes are getting brighter and he has found his arms and legs- I'm loving all of these moments.

This weekend we are going to have a relaxing weekend and enjoy some family time in Bristol. xoxo

CHRISTENING

This is Steve on our one year wedding anniversary at the church we got married in- St. Mary's Island Church. It's located on Orchardleigh Estate.

I am thinking about having Euan christened here when my mom comes over in May. St. Mary's only has two church services a month. Every wedding and service is lit by candlelight as there is no power in the church. It is also encircled by a beautiful lake.

It would mean a lot to both of us to have our son christened in the same church we were married in and also wearing my christening gown. My Dad found it in storage and sent it over. It's a bit yellowish from age- if anyone has any tips on the best way to clean it, please pass them on.

WELCOME SPRING

I had a brilliant day yesterday- The boys and I went into town. While I had a mani/pedi, they played mini golf- even little Euan!

It's amazing what 4.5 hours of sleep can do for you, thank-you Euan.

The weather was a beautiful 13 degrees yesterday and I took advantage of my new sling to walk up to the grocery store... Euan fits in perfect and is a happy little man in it. Have a great weekend! xoxo

TETBURY

Steve and I decided to take a visit to The Fabulous Baker Brothers- Hobbs House Bakery the other day and after a failed visit to Chipping Sodbury (the HQ) we were back on the road to Tetbury to find a store front bakery.

I knew of Tetbury through my mom who was born there, but had planned to wait and go with her when she visits in May. We only got to spend about half an hour there in the end, but I decided it was somewhere I definitely wanted to go back to.

Other than the bakery, I fell in love with an overpriced clothing store called Moloh and this gorgeous outfit. Yes, I can see myself wearing all of it, especially the hat! Unfortunately, I can't afford to wear one piece of it. A girl can dream though....

A PLACE IN THE SUN

JAIL BREAK

I was finally feeling well enough yesterday to join Steve and his Mom on a short road trip to Clevedon, one of my favourite places in North Somerset also the back drop for the (2010 film) Never Let Me Go.

It was Euan's first big outing and our first time walking the Clevedon Pier the only fully intact grade 1 listed pier in the country and host to one of the greatest sunsets in England.

After a our short pier walk we lunched at the fabulous Tiffin's  restaurant & tea house, another first for me
and what a treat.

Oh THE PLACES WE WILL GO

EUAN AND FAITH

My friend Anna drove down from the  Lake District to visit me for the night with her Mum and new little one Faith who was born in December. After taking this picture it really made me realize how fast they grow and how you never get this time back again. I have been spending a lot more time staring at Euan since this picture was taken. xoxo

LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL FRIDAY

Happy March & Happy Friday! I am certainly a lot happier today after having what is I'm sure one of the longest weeks of my life. A visit to the doctor was just what I needed.  Euan is almost back up to his birth weight 7.3lbs and we swear gives us little smiles. He is giving me at least 2.5 hours in between feedings and we are all thankful for the little bit of extra sleep after such a long week. I'm looking forward to having little outings again even if it's just to the back garden. The daffodils are shooting up everywhere and the first signs of spring are here, I love it. I can't wait to show Euan all of my favourite things in Bristol this spring. Have a fantastic weekend. xoxo
